FIGHT!!!!! Martin O’Neill Smackdowns Reo-Coker

September 18, 2009

Now every manager has his different training techniques

Some inspire. Some perspire. But Martin O’Neill as gone down another route. He has had a fight with one of his players…a real fight!

The incident happened after a very heated exchange between the manager, and versitile former Hammer’s skipper Nigel Reo-Coker. The player is said to be unhappy at being substituted last weekend, and being played out of position. A witness to the fracas said: “It was really heated and at one point they fell to the ground grappling with each other although no one was throwing punches or anything like that.” The two were eventually separated by fellow players and staff. The incident happened at yesterdays training session.

Funnily enough, on a recent Soccer AM segment where players reveal little funnies about their fellow player, Steve Sidwell said on the biggest moaner at the Midlands club “Nigel Reo-Coker – there can only be one. Every day, on and off the pitch. Anything he can moan about he moans about.” He also said that Reo-Coker was ‘the longest in the showers’ commenting “he loves a good scrub.”

I personally would like to see O’Neill go at it with Emile Heskey

haha nice. What is o’neill thinking getting into a fight with Reo-Coker. Bit gutted because he’s the only decent central midfielder we have…
