zurich 2-5 real madrid goals highlights video – ronaldo scored two free kicks

Real Madrid started their Champions League campaign with a 5-2 win against a very aggressive FC Zurich team.

The Swiss hassled and made Real uncomfortable until Cristiano Ronaldo scored a free-kick that opened up the game. Xabi Alonso was pulling the strings all night long, setting up two goals forRaul and Hiquan.

Alonso was taken off in the 2nd half when he was involved in a hard tackle, and his exclusion was taken advantaged off by Zurich. Margairaz scored a dubious penalty and Aegerter scored in the next minuted with a header. All too familiar for Real Madrid lately – defensive problems.

Guti was put on, and the Real midfield was more organised. Cristiano Ronaldo scored another free-kick and then Guti sealed the game up with a lob to finish off a delightful little pass from Kaka.

That Madrid defence is absolutely shocking! Especially for that 2nd goal! The real test will come when they play the bigger teams!
