Fabregas looks to head home? Bitter blow for Arsenal

Cesc Fabregas has admitted that he does not know where he will be playing his football next season.

The Gunners talisman has been interviewed by Marca Radio, where he admits that even though he is happy (Ronaldo happy that is!) at Arsenal, that he feels his future is unclear. This is sure to ignite the interests of Real and Barca, who have both previously tracked the player. The Arsenal skipper said: …

“I do not know if I will leave the Premier League next year. I am happy an it is and important year for the club. I have not spoken to anyone at the moment, although if something has to happen, it will happen — but currently there is nothing.”

Fabregas also admitted Real had shown an interest in him, but suggested it never led to anything. He added: “Two or three years ago, there was something. Real Madrid and its fans have always been very good to me and for that I will be forever grateful, But there has never been anything serious with another team since I joined Arsenal.”

So Real and its fans have always been GOOD TO HIM…..WHAT? He’s not spoken to anyone but doesn’t know where he will play his football next year??? All sounds rather dodgy to me. Rumours are also abound that he has signed a pre contract agreement with his boyhood club Barcelona. We will have to wait and see on that one..whatever happens, it would be a crushing blow for the Wengerboys.

He’s on til 2011 with a 3 year option. I could see him going at the end of the year to still ensure a hefty sum for his transfer.

As a worried Arsenal supporter, I hear this story every other month and it’s always denied by Cesc at the next press conference. This story always comes out of Spain aswell and only tabloid papers print it in this country.

    Gives me a fudgin’ headache!
