Blackburn v. Wolves

Team news:

Good news for Blackburn, Australian Brett Emerton is back in contention after a thigh injury, Franco Di Santo and Ryan Nelsen passed fit. Although, Steven Reid is still sidelined with an ankle problem.

Wolves will be without Sylvan Ebanks-Blake (hamstring), Micheal Kightly (broken metatarsal), Chris Iwelumo (also out with broken metatarsal) and Kevin Foley (knee). New signings Segundo Castillo and Stefan Maierhofer could make their debuts as they’re both in the squad travelling to Ewood Park.

Predictions:

Liverpool v. Burnley

Team news:

Rafa Benitez has no injury worries from the international break. Fabio Aurelio is back training after his the freak injury he suffered while playing with his kids during the summer and is expected to make the squad.

Burnley still has Steven Caldwell out injured with groin problem but Richard Eckersley and Michael Duff are back from suspension and an ankle injury respectively. David Nugent, on-loan from Portsmouth, is pushing for a starting place against his former club.

Manchester City v. Arsenal

Team news:

Robinho and Carlos Tevez came back to Eastlands with injuries, the Brazilian picked up an ankle problem while Tevez is expected to be out for at least two weeks with a knee problem.

Arsenal will be without Andrey Arshavin after the midfielder picked up a groin injury while playing for Russia. Thomas Rosicky played for the Czech Republic on Wednesday but its not expected to feature this weekend just yet. Theo Walcott is back training with the first team but will get a late fitness test. Johan Djourou, Samir Nasri and Lukasz Fabianski are still out sidelined.

Portsmouth v. Bolton

Team news:

David James has returned to training after a knee injury which has kept him out in the last two England games. Papa Bouba Diop, Steve Finnan and HErman Hreidarsson are still out. New signings and on-loan players include Danny Webber, Tal Ben-Haim, Kevin Prince-Boateng, Jamie O’Hara, Mike Williamson, Aruna Dindane and Hassan Yebda are in contention to make their debuts at home.

Bolton new on-loan striker Ivan Klasnic could make his debut after Johan Elmander picked up an injury playing for Sweden and will face a late fitness test.

Stoke v. Chelsea

Team news:

Stoke striker James Beattie will face a late fitness test after a knee injury he picked up in the last game. Tuncay Sanli could make his debut for Stoke.

Chelsea midfielder Deco will not feature this weekend after picking up a calf injury while on international duty. Other than that, there are no fresh injury worries for Carlo Ancelotti that already consists of Yuri Zhirkov, Alex, Joe Cole and Paulo Ferreira.

Sunderland v. Hull

Team news:

Craig Gordon and Marton Fulop are both doubts for the home game against the Tigers, young keeper Trevor Carson could make senior debut. The list for late returns from international duty are Kenwyne Jones, Paula Da Silva and Lorik Cana and all be will assessed.

Hull new Dutch signing Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink will probably get his debut ahead of the ever-present Caleb Folan who might be sent out on loan. Jozy Altidore arrived on Friday after returning from international duty with the USMNT in Trinidad and Tobago so assessment on his condition will take place. Ian Ashbee, Jimmy Bullard and Richard Garcia are still sidelined.

Wigan v. West Ham

Team news:

Hendry Thomas and Maynor Figueroa featured during the international break, both seems to be fit to participate. Olivier Kapo returned to training but still short of full match fitness.

Dean Ashton, Luis Boa Morte and Herita Ilunga are still unavailable. Kieron Dyer is a doubt but Valon Behrami has returned to training after a knee problem. New signings Manuel Da Costa and Alessandro Diamanti are in the squad travelling to Wigan.

Tottenham v. Manchester United

Team news:

New signing Niko Kranjcar should start with Luka Modric out with a broken fibula. Ledley King will face late fitness test. Jermaine Jenas and Heurelho Gomes are training so will be on contention for this wekend match, Sebastien Basson was a worry after a slight knock while on international duty. Michael Dawson, Jonathan Woodgate and Gareth Bale are still in getting treatment.

Good news for Sir Alex Ferguson, Rio Ferdinand is back in training and so is Gary Neville who played in a reserve match last weekend. Antonio Valencia had a long flight after playing for his country. Injury lists include John O’Shea and Edwin van der Sar.

Birmingham v. Aston Villa

Team news:

Christian Benitez may make his first start after impressing as a substitute, but the striker had two full matches with Ecuador in the past week. Cameron Jerome is sidelined with an ankle injury.

With Curtis Davies out til next year with his long-term shoulder problem, new signings Richard Dunne and James Collin could bothmake their debuts. Luke Young has returned to training but this weekend game comes too soon for him. Emile Heskey will face a late fitness test after suffering from a tight hamstring against Croatia.

Fulham v. Everton

Team news:

Fulham has striker Andrew Johnson back from a collarbone injury. Danny Murphy, Simon Davies and Bobby Zamora are also back in contention. However, goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer is a worry and will get til Sunday to get his stiff neck problem sorted.

New signings Johnny Heitinga and Diniyar Bilyaletdinov are expected to make their debuts this weekend as they will be travelling with the squad to London. Sylvain Distin is also in contention.
