OShea ruled out for two months

September 8, 2009

Manchester United full back, John OShea, has suffered a calf injury whilst on international duty with the Irish national side

Initial assessments believe that he may have torn the muscle, and currently cannot walk. Republic of Ireland manager Trapattoni was quoted “Today, he could not play because he had a bleed on the calf. He couldn’t run today. I told him to be careful because when you pull that muscle, it is two months. It was not just for me, it was also for his club to decide”

It is a blow for the verstile Irishman, who has cemented himself at the heart of the United defence in the previous twelve months. His injury now re-opens the door for Wes Brown, whos injury problems originally allowed OShea a route into regular first team action at Old Trafford

    A former Bournemouth player.

Chant from the AFC Bournemouth North End (to the tune of Yesterday, by the Beatles)…

“John O’Shea, makes it such an easy game to play. Oh we believe in John O’Shea…”

Another injury woe at the back after Rio and Evans, hopefully the rest of the team will come out unscathed following international duties
