He may be considered a God by the Anfield faithfuls but that was a disgrace. Should have seen red, imho.

North Queensland captain Robbie Fowler struck Gold Coast United player Anderson with his feet during the 85th minute of the round two A-League clash at Robina’s Skilled Stadium.

But because the referee ruled the matter did not warrant any further punishment, the match review panel was unable to impose a greater penalty.

“In accordance with FIFA and FFA Regulations, the MRP has no authority to intervene,” the FFA said in a statement.

Meanwhile Gold Coast’s Steve Pantelidis is facing a two-match ban for violent conduct for an incident in the same match.

United has until 12:00pm AEST on Tuesday to accept the sanction or refer the matter to an FFA disciplinary committee.

Oh who would expect less from the man who went all Tony Montana and inhaled the goal line? Class as per usual.

That was after he scored a goal-right in front of the Everton fans who were calling him ‘smackhead’ all game. I might have done the same!
I didn’t like the Le Saux incident though.

Haha I watched this game and thought it hilarious!
The real funny thing is that the FFA (Football Fed Aust) aren’t going to even ban him or anything just cos the fact that he is the great Robbie Fowler.
But seriously his team the North Queensland fury are pretty awful but I guess they’ve only existed for 2 matches :P
