king shrooney

June 11, 2009

Disney star, Wayne Rooney scored his eighth and ninth goal in seven international games in the 6-0 win against Andorra, and currently is the top scorer in the qualifying rounds. You beauty! Another player who performed immensely well was the Man of the Match winner, Glen Johnson, who was involved in four of England’s goals. Jermain Defoe, a half-time subsitute for Rooney, scored two, with Frank Lampard and Peter Crouch getting a goal each.

Boo to Theo Walcott though. Ok ok, he did supply the ball for Lampard’s goal but he failed too many times to penetrate the Andorra defence with his runs and pace. William Gallas was right, everyone knows what Walcott will do with the ball. I really don’t understand the hype with the boy.

I think Walcott would be a better player if Henry was still at Arsenal, a few pointers etc etc, he face but lacks imagination.

ritesh. thats what i said. albeit it was against andorra but he has scored 9 goals in 7 games playing center forward, im sure if man utd has a reliable player on the left for next season rooney might play more up top.

ab. that was the plan wasnt it? wenger was hoping walcott could learn a thing or two from henry but then he moved to barca.

he maybe a bit one dimensional as a winger, but theo will eventually end up as a forward anyway.
trough the middle pace, positioning sense plus a clinical strike are the important requirements and if he can provide the ladder he will be just as good as owen once was.
