Chelsea are still in alive and kicking in three competitions but if they do fail to pick up any silverware this season, at least Felipe Scolari came out as a winner. A £10 million winner. All that for six months’ work, and that work out to more than £400,000 a week.

lol, i really don’t understand roman abramovich hiring managers on long-term contracts. i’m sure he knows, as yb put it, that “the boll is roun” and anything can happen. but with the severance pay disputes with jose mourinho and avram grant, you would have thought he would wise up to it already.

    fyi. with scolari’s 10m, grant’s 1om and mourinho’s 18m, that’s 38m on three managers’ SEVERANCE pay alone.
