Silva & Villa to United this January? Mission Not Impossible
Rumours are intensifying concerning Valencia’s (not to be confused with United’s winger Valencia) two star players, David Silva and David Villa, joining Manchester United this January.
According to reports from English tabloids, United are prepared to pay around 50M pounds for the pair, as Valencia are said to be prepared to sell them as the club is in dire needs of funds. The two players are being strongly linked to United as they have only 3 established strikers in Rooney, Berbatov and Owen for the moment, and the arrival of Villa could inject some vigor in the almost fading attack of United, while Silva will bring in more flair in the midfield department, mostly on that left wing where Nani, who was supposed to fill in the void left by C.Ronaldo, has not lived up to the expectations, being out-classed by ‘old timer’ Giggs as a fact.
However this deal is yet to happen, and Villa was stated before as saying if he ever wanted to play for another team it will be Liverpool, while Silva, although being coveted by Liverpool as well, seems to be ready to join United however. The end of this drama may be known only in January, whether Sir Alex would indeed make a move for the two, or another team gets to buy them.

I can see Silva at Utd in January. David Villa on the other hand I think will stay in Spain, he would only join Liverpool because of the number of spanish speaking players and the manager, something Utd cannot offer him.
I’d be gutted as an Arsenal supporter if they both did end up at OT, they are both players of the highest quality.
silva signing sounds more realistic.. i doubt villa would leave the iberian patria. we shall wait & see..
I think Benitez would be keen to buy the pair but Liverpool seem to have a really strict low budget ( Kyrgiakos, come on!..) but if they moved to OT in January that could make a huge difference to the league with chelsea’s embargo and African cup of nations……worried Chelsea fan.

Silva is a possibility..but another star striker might mean the end of Berbatov and might yet again push Rooney to the sidelines?
i think silva is coming to utd but i doubt about david villa.

Spanish players of this quality are always likely to end up at Barcelona or Real Madrid. Unfortunately.
This should be a good addition. Berbatov is a waste of time. he has done nothing so far. This showed in the loss to the scousers.

Owen coming into form? Sure…if he gets the games. I’d say Sir Alex needs to play him…he should have come on alot earlier at Anfield…
