Ronaldo has legs insured

The most expensive legs in the world
Real Madrid have insured new signing Cristiano Ronaldo’s legs for £90m. So if the Winker gets injured, Real can rest easy in their sleep in the knowledge that they lose no money. This means that Ronnie officially has the most valuable legs in the world. As if we didn’t know that already.
Ronaldo is not the only Sportsman to have a part of their body insured. Michael Owen had his legs insured for £60m, while David Beckham had his whole body insured for £100m, and Australian cricketer Merv Hughes had his moustache insured for £200k. I wonder how much I could get my backside insured for.

Jennifer Lopez beat you to it, George.
Her most recognized asset is insured for some crazy $100 million or something.
I guess it makes sense.
Twink is a target for hard tackles isnt he? How else do you explain the frequency of rolling around on the carpet behaving in a way that should be reserved for only wounded war heroes?
Ugh. Wait though. So does this mean if he is tackled in a way like say….Eduardo was tackled, does that mean some footballer can be sued? This could get really ugly for the sport.
Oh typical J-Lo. She always stands in the way when I want to get somewhere! Like when I wanted to stop people looking @ me, I did some research to see if anyone else had thought of that, and there she was!
That’s a good point though Katie. But surely that can’t happen? Tackling is part of the game, and bad luck if you get injured – what do you expect from a contact sport? I know, lets put restrictions on people touching you. Pretty much the same thing.
