A masterclass performance by Pep Guardiola’s men, they deserve kudos for that match…left United flat-footed throughout the match, no reaction whatever from the ‘White Devils’ on that night…

Eto’s goal swayed the tie Barca’s way. I’m not going to diss the spanish (and now euro) champions nor am I going to go on a rant about how it was weird that Sir Alex decided to switch to the traditional 4-4-2 and give barca so much more space in the second half. I’ll just sit here and sulk. And hope that the tears stop. Soon.

i think the best team of the season, not just the night, won. man utd for a lot of the season showed some great football but barca was ruthless from the start to the end.
both are teams i love to watch, but i did consolidated myself with cheezy fries this lunch time. it was just disappointing to not see the football man utd are capable of playing, especially with the makeshift back four barcelona had. the game it was all hyped up to be was missing in the aspect that man utd didnt show up. and i did not binged because i heart iniesta and xavi. makes me want to come out of retirement and play some football.
hey, if “hes got more tricks than a jackie chans flick” didnt cry last night, there shouldnt be any tears. lol. just snap on your workmates and throw your tracksuit to the ground.

Barca were definitely brilliant controlling the play especially Iniesta and Xavi. Iniesta is the most impressive, and was probably last night’s man of the match.
I was swaying slightly towards a Man Utd win, but I have to say the best team won, and even SAF agreed! There was certainly no sense of disappointment from my part thats for sure!
