bobby moore would be proud

David Beckham started his England career with a 3-0 win against Moldova in a World Cup Qualifier on 1st September 1996, and last night, after 13 years of representing his country, he finally won his 109th England cap to beat the record of World Cup winning captain Bobby Moore. Although lately those caps are earned through cameo appearances, still he’s been a good player for England. He has made himself available at the age of 34, even though he was dropped by Steve McClaren and after letting go of the captain’s armband so he deserves some admiration. A true servant for the Three Lions.
Crazy Rooney scored twice in the last 20 minutes, after Emile Heskey opened the 4-0 win after seven minutes. Frank Lampard scored the other goal with nine minutes left. Highly satisfactoy night out for Fabio Capello.
