Seems like Fabio Capello wasn’t the only one trying to persuade Paul Scholes out of international retirement. Former England netball player and sister of Gary and Phil, Tracey Neville was at Craven Cottage last Saturday and was reported to show interest in getting Paul Scholes into the England netball set-up but her interest was quickly revoked when she was reminded that netball is and has always been an all-female game.
Following some incredible spy-work by a WDKF photographer in Manchester, netball isn’t the only sport showing interest in Scholes’ newly found hand-to-ball talent. All kind of volleyballs are reported to be interested also.
Cristiano Ronaldo is another Manchester United player involved in a tug-of-war between the Portuguese volleyball and football associations, but he has refuted the interest in an interview last summer by saying, “It is my dream to play football, not volleyball, for Real Madrid.” Pity, he showed some good blocking in the away win against Manchester City last November.

lol, both his hand-balls this season are weird. he really put his hand(s) out to the ball, both avoidable i say. one would get him right on the face though.
It looked like he raised his hands before the ball was kicked in an attempt to intimidate zamora.
